Amir Khan plans to watch Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr fight again. The former world champion feels bad for Eubank Jr because of the weight rules for the rematch.
Benn and Eubank Jr will face off at 160lb, which is two weight classes above where Benn usually fights. They'll also have to follow a 10lb rehydration limit on fight day.
Khan shared his thoughts in an interview with iFL TV.
"It's a little bit unfair on him [Eubank Jr]," Khan said about the weight restrictions.
Even with these rules, Khan thinks the fight will be a big deal.
"It's another good fight that people want to see. It's a British fight and will sell out the arena. Eubank and Benn are going to give it their all. They know how much exposure they got from this fight."
The two boxers first fought in April. That night, Eubank Jr won by unanimous decision after 12 rounds. Many people thought it was one of the best fights in the UK in recent years. Both fighters threw a lot of punches and fought aggressively.
The build-up to their first fight was intense. They were supposed to fight earlier, but it got cancelled when Benn failed a drug test.
The BBC reported on the weight details for the rematch. The fight will happen at middleweight, which is 160lb. This weight is much higher than what Benn usually fights at.
With all the drama and action from their first meeting, fans can't wait to see what happens when Benn and Eubank Jr step into the ring again.
