Tyson Fury's Corner Tactics Questioned After Usyk Loss: "They Made A Huge Mistake"

Usyk first took Fury's WBC belt, then kept all the heavyweight titles in a one-sided rematch. Fury just wasn't ready for these fights, and it showed.

John Fury, Tyson's dad and cornerman, pointed out the obvious after the losses. He said Tyson's body let him down. The lack of muscle and strength really hurt him against Usyk.

Greg Marriott, Fury's food expert, didn't hold back either. He spilled the beans about what went wrong in camp:

"I think what has happened in that camp, they overcomplicated things. Instead of making him super fit, they made things too complex. He should have never have lost against Usyk. It shouldn't have even been close, because he is that good. But my voice will only go so far in camp... I just think for that camp, I didn't like what I saw. I just thought this is getting overcomplicated and it came to fruition in the ring. He should have just been super fit and made to go do his thing."

Marriott felt the team made things too complicated. They should've focused on getting Fury in top shape. But his advice didn't get much attention in camp.

Now, Fury's retired, but he looks to be in incredible shape. He's worked hard on his body and keeps training non-stop. Almost everyone thinks he'll fight again when the right chance comes along.

The losses to Usyk were a wake-up call for Fury. His team learned the hard way that sometimes, keeping it simple and focusing on fitness is the best strategy. We'll have to wait and see if Fury can bounce back from these setbacks and reclaim his spot at the top of the heavyweight division.
