"F--k Canelo. I hope Crawford beats the s--t out of him. I'll tell you like this I mean the weight division thing, you know, but I hope Crawford beats the s--t out of him. What Canelo did on that day was disrespectful to boxing. It was just simply disrespectful to boxing in every way."
Romero's harsh criticism comes as Canelo gets ready for his next big fight. The Mexican champion will face Terence Crawford on Friday, September 12, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It's shaping up to be the biggest fight in boxing right now.
