The unified world champion in the super middleweight division Saul Alvarez negatively assessed the performance of WBA title holder Terence Crawford in the bout against Israil Madrimov.
Canelo believes that his potential opponent actually lost the fight, which was his debut at the limit of the first middleweight category.
“As for me, he lost. Crawford lost this bout or it was a draw. Everything could have ended differently, but he knows why there are weight categories,” said Alvarez.
Recall that in August of last year Crawford defeated Madrimov by unanimous decision of the judges.
