Manny Pacquiao wants to fight Gervonta Davis. The retired boxing legend has set his sights on the current WBA world lightweight champion for a potential comeback bout.

Davis, a 30-year-old fighter from Baltimore, Maryland, holds world titles across three weight divisions. He started his pro career in 2013 and has climbed the ranks to become one of boxing's most exciting talents. His most recent fight on March 1 ended in a split decision draw against Lamont Roach Jr, nearly costing him his WBA crown.

Pacquiao, the 46-year-old Filipino icon and eight-division world champion, hasn't fought since 2021. He lost his last bout to Yordenis Ugas in a bid to reclaim the welterweight championship. Despite the setback and his retirement, 'Pac-Man' seems eager to lace up the gloves once more.

In a recent interview with Seconds Out, Pacquiao expressed his interest in facing Davis:

"Either I can fight Floyd again, or I can fight anybody like Gervonta Davis. I'm not scared."

This statement has sparked excitement among boxing fans, who wonder if the seasoned veteran can match up against the younger, hard-hitting 'Tank' Davis.

Davis will likely rematch Roach Jr in the coming months to settle the score from their controversial draw. Meanwhile, Pacquiao's plans remain uncertain. The boxing world waits to see if this intergenerational clash will materialize or if it's just talk from a legend considering his options for a comeback.
