Daniel Dubois, the current IBF heavyweight champion, thinks Tyson Fury should stay retired. He says, "It's my time now."

Fury hung up his gloves in January after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. These losses ended Fury's unbeaten run and cost him his chance to become the undisputed champion. Fury believed he deserved to win both fights, but the judges didn't agree.

Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champ since Lennox Lewis by beating Fury. But he had to give up the IBF belt to fight Fury again. Dubois grabbed that chance and won the vacant IBF title.

Dubois didn't stop there. He knocked out Anthony Joshua in September to defend his new belt. Now, he's looking ahead to a rematch with Usyk for all the marbles.

Speaking about Fury's retirement, Dubois said:

"He should retire in my opinion. He's done everything. But it's my time now, I want to be the next man."

Dubois knows Fury well. In 2023, Dubois lost to Usyk by stoppage. But now, as a champion himself, he's eager for another shot at the Ukrainian.

Many boxing fans want Fury to come back for one last fight. They think a clash with Anthony Joshua is bound to happen. There's even talk that Fury's training for a comeback.

But Dubois is focused on his own path. He's aiming to be the next big thing in heavyweight boxing. And he's not shy about saying it's his time to shine.
