Former world light-heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gvozdik expressed the opinion that the main threat to the holder of WBA, WBO and IBF belts in this division is the newly crowned WBC champion David Benavides.
"It seems to me that it is Benavides who is the worst opponent for Bivol. But this is only my vision. Of course, Bivol is a very good boxer, but purely stylistically it will be difficult for him to fight against David. I'm not saying that 100% Benavides will win, but it's definitely a tough fight for Bivol," - quotes Gvozdik "RBC-Ukraine".
Recall, earlier Bivol gave up the WBC belt to avoid mandatory defense with David Benavides. Thus, the American automatically became the new champion under this version.
