Roy Jones Jr thinks Gervonta Davis will come back stronger in his next fight with Lamont Roach Jr. The retired boxing champion shared his thoughts on the expected rematch between the two fighters.

Davis and Roach Jr fought to a split decision draw on March 1 at the Barclays Center in New York. The fight caused a stir when Davis took a knee after a jab from Roach in the ninth round. Referee Steve Willis didn't call it a knockdown, which led to a lot of debate in the boxing world.

The controversial ending left fans wanting more, and it looks like they'll get their wish. While nothing's official yet, both fighters are said to have agreed to a rematch this summer.

Jones Jr, who won world titles in four weight classes during his career, shared his prediction with Pro Boxing Fans. He thinks the rematch will go differently.

"I think he [Roach] shocks the world again, but the only thing different this time is Tank will come with a different attitude, a different personality, different motivation, and I think Roach will do good again but I think Tank will be more dominant this time."

Davis, known as 'Tank', is still undefeated at 30 years old. The Baltimore native will want to prove himself after the close call in their first meeting.

Roach Jr, nicknamed 'The Reaper', put in the best performance of his career last time out. He came close to beating Davis and will try to finish the job in the rematch.

The boxing world will watch closely to see if Jones Jr's prediction comes true. Will Davis show up with a new mindset and take control, or can Roach pull off another surprise? We'll have to wait for the bell to ring to find out.
