Shakur Stevenson turned down Terence Crawford's idea of fighting Gervonta Davis on the undercard of a potential Crawford-Canelo bout. Stevenson believes he's too big of a star for that.

Crawford recently shared his thoughts on a dream card with reporter Manouk Akopyan. He said:

"It should be crazy Davis vs. Stevenson, between Crawford and Canelo. It would be great. If Tank wasn't so arrogant as to not be on a Crawford undercard, that would be great."

Crawford doubted Davis would agree to be on anyone's undercard. But it turns out Stevenson wasn't keen on the idea either.

The young champion took to social media to politely reject his friend's suggestion:

"I love you, buddy, but no. I think my cousin and I fought the biggest fight in the sport. The PPV numbers are going to be amazing... look what I'm saying! And it's not a knock on my colleague. I just believe in myself... For me, he's the best, and after he beats Canelo, there will be no debate!"

Stevenson's confidence in his own star power and PPV potential was clear. He sees himself as a main event fighter, not an undercard attraction.

Meanwhile, Crawford is getting ready for a possible September showdown with Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas. The fight isn't set in stone yet, but Crawford has been talking about it a lot in interviews.

As for Davis, he might have other plans. There's talk of a rematch with Lamont Roach Jr. Some even say he could face Jake Paul if he wins that fight.

With all these moving pieces, it's clear the lightweight division is heating up. But don't expect to see Stevenson on anyone's undercard anytime soon. He's made it clear he sees himself as the main attraction.
