Joe Calzaghe, the undefeated boxing champion, has shared his thoughts on a potential rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois. Calzaghe, who never fought the same opponent twice in his 46-fight career, sees the matchup as an intriguing prospect.

Usyk, the current heavyweight champion, has proven his mettle with four points victories against Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. He's now looking to regain his undisputed status after vacating one belt. On the other hand, Dubois, the British boxer and current IBF heavyweight champion, has been in good form lately. He's secured knockout wins over Jarrell Miller, Fillip Hrgovic, and Joshua in his last three fights.

The first Usyk-Dubois fight ended with Usyk winning by a 9th-round stoppage. However, the match wasn't without controversy. Dubois knocked down Usyk with a punch that was ruled a low blow, sparking debate among fans and experts alike.

Calzaghe shared his thoughts on the potential rematch in a recent interview:

"I think it's really interesting. Obviously there was a bit of controversy in the first one with the borderline body shot. I think Dubois is a better fighter. I also think Usyk has shown us what he's all about. I think that's the fight to make. I'm interested to see that one."

Regarding the controversial low blow from the first fight, Calzaghe added:

"It was borderline, but you have a protecter to protect you there, so it's a bit weird, man, bit dodgy."

While fans are eager for the rematch, there might be a hurdle to overcome. Usyk might have to face mandatory challenger Joseph Parker first, as ordered by the WBO. This potential bout could delay the highly anticipated rematch with Dubois.

The boxing world waits with bated breath to see how this situation unfolds. Will Usyk face Parker first, or will we get the Dubois rematch sooner rather than later? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure - when these heavyweight titans do meet again, it'll be a fight you won't want to miss.
