Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia's first fight got everyone in boxing talking. The bout ended with Garcia winning, but that's not where the story stopped.

Garcia dropped Haney three times on his way to a majority decision victory last April. The result didn't stand for long, though. Garcia tested positive for Ostarine after the fight. Officials changed the result to a no contest, suspended Garcia for a year, and fined him over $1 million.

The California fighter came in over the weight limit for the bout, adding more controversy to an already dramatic event.

Juan Manuel Marquez, the Mexican boxing legend who had four famous fights with Manny Pacquiao, shared his thoughts on a potential rematch. He told Fight Hub TV:

"For me I would like to see that, because I think Devin Haney's a good fighter, Ryan Garcia's a great fighter and then think it would be a great rematch."

When asked to predict a winner, Marquez couldn't commit. "Ryan Garcia again, I don't know. It's another tough fight for both," he said. The former champion also insisted on strict testing for any rematch.

Both fighters have bouts lined up for May 2 in Times Square, New York City. Garcia will face Rolando 'Rolly' Romero, while two-weight world champion Haney takes on former unified super lightweight champion Jose Ramirez.

The results of these fights will likely influence any potential rematch between Haney and Garcia. The boxing world will watch closely as these two talented fighters continue their careers.
