Oleksandr Usyk wants to fight Daniel Dubois next. The heavyweight champion has his eyes on becoming a two-time undisputed king by regaining the IBF title.

Usyk beat Tyson Fury for the second time in December. He kept his WBC, WBA, and WBO belts but gave up the IBF strap. Dubois now holds that title.

The WBO has told Usyk he must fight Joseph Parker next. Parker won against Martin Bakole last month, making him the mandatory challenger. But Usyk's team has other plans.

Sergey Lapin, part of Team Usyk, told OLBG:

"Oleksandr Usyk wants to make his next fight against Daniel Dubois. Dubois is our priority, because he has the belt. We are waiting for the date of the fight with Dubois, we assume it will take place in Riyadh or London, one of the world capitals of boxing and Usyk will once again prove that he is the best fighter of our generation."

Usyk and Dubois have met before. The Ukrainian stopped Dubois in round nine of their last fight. That bout had some drama when Dubois knocked Usyk down in the fifth round with a punch that was called a low blow.

Parker's team says they'll do all they can to make their fight happen. He was supposed to fight Dubois in February, but Dubois got sick during fight week.

Usyk's last fight was a big win over Fury in December. It was their second meeting in seven months. Now, he's looking to add more gold to his collection by facing Dubois instead of Parker.
