Chris Eubank Sr doesn't think his son will fight Conor Benn on April 26. The boxing legend has never liked the idea of this match-up and now says it won't happen.

The fight was first set for October 2022 but got called off when Benn tested positive for a banned substance called clomifene. Eubank Sr worried about both fighters' safety back then. He didn't like that Benn would move up two weight classes, or that his son would have to lose weight to make 157lbs.

Now, Eubank Sr is saying the fight will fall through again. He told an interviewer:

"Conor used to be a 147 fighter, he's being spoiled, he's being misled, Harlem is the man for him. When the fight falls through, which it will, and I'm talking about Junior against Conor, Harlem is going to be ready. It may not be on the same date but thats going to be the next fight for them I believe."

Eubank Sr thinks his nephew Harlem Eubank should fight Benn instead. Harlem fights at welterweight and has a perfect record of 21 wins with 9 knockouts. He just won the IBF intercontinental welterweight title by stopping Tyrone McKenna this past weekend.

Eubank Sr added:

"Absolutely [it's not going to happen]. I said it the last time if you check back when the fight was made the first time I said it's not going to happen and the day before the fight it was pulled."

We'll have to wait and see if Eubank Sr's prediction comes true or if the fight goes ahead as planned on April 26.
