Bivol-Beterbiev: CompuBox statistics

Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) and Artur Beterbiev (21-1, 20 KOs) were more aggressive early in their rematch than in their first meeting. Artur Beterbiev seemed to take the initiative starting in the third round. Beterbiev outscored Bivol 50-43 in rounds three through five.

But starting in the sixth round, Bivol kicked into high gear while Beterbiev slowed down. Bivol ended up throwing 170 punches - more than any of Beterbiev's opponents.

After averaging 35 punches thrown and 12 punches thrown per round in their first meeting, Bivol averaged 46 and 14 punches, respectively. Beterbiev reached double digits in five of twelve rounds, while Bivol landed at least ten punches in eleven of twelve rounds.

In the first fight, Bivol threw an average of 35 punches per round and landed 12 of them. In the rematch, he improved his numbers to 46 punches thrown and 14 landed. Beterbiev was only able to throw more than ten punches in three minutes in five of the twelve rounds. While Bivol managed to do so in eleven.

One judge scored the fight a draw. Two other judges gave the verdict: 116-112 and 115-113, both scores in favor of Bivol.
