On May 3, Riyadh may host a boxing night featuring a fight between WBA middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (31-3-3, 19 KOs) and Yonley Hernandez (7-0, 7 KOs). This was reported by ESPN TV journalist Salvador Rodriguez.
Lara has worked with Premier Boxing Champions in recent years and last boxed last September in an early victory over Danny Garcia. For Hernandez, this will be his first professional world title fight.
The main event in Riyadh in May will be a fight for four super middleweight championship belts between Saul Alvarez and William Scull. A rematch between Jaime Munguia and Bruno Surase is also expected to take place in Saudi Arabia.
