David Benavides, interim WBC light heavyweight champion of the world, has once again called for Saul Alvarez to fight him.
"Imagine if Canelo had just agreed and already fought me. It's not about the money. It's about the fact that boxing needs this right now and we owe it to the fans. Without a doubt, this would go down in history as the best Mexican shootout ever. Let's give the fans what they deserve!!! We are 300% sure about this, but I can't say the same about the other side," Benavides wrote on his social media page.
