Canelo Alvarez has made it clear he's not interested in fighting Jake Paul. The Mexican superstar boxer responded to Paul's claims after rumors of a potential bout between them circulated.

The boxing world got a bit shaken up recently. First, a planned fight between Canelo and Terence Crawford was reported as off. Then, Canelo got linked to a possible match with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul. This all happened while Paul was preparing for his controversial November fight against 58-year-old Mike Tyson, who hasn't fought in nearly two decades.

But things took another turn. The Canelo vs Crawford fight is now back on track, set to take place in Las Vegas this September. ESPN reported that Canelo turned down the Paul fight in favor of facing Crawford.

Paul didn't take this news quietly. He claimed Alvarez had "ducked" him by not taking the fight and declared himself the "new face of boxing."

Canelo didn't let these comments slide. In a video shared by The Ring Magazine on X, he fired back:

"Hey guys, don't pay attention or anything to this f***ing YouTuber. I just fight real fighters, no f***ing around with Canelo."

Alvarez's schedule is already filling up. He's got a fight planned for May in Saudi Arabia, though his opponent isn't confirmed yet. Then, he'll face Crawford in September in Las Vegas.

As for Paul, his next opponent remains unknown. But he's not short on potential challengers - a former world heavyweight champion has already called him out for a fight.

The boxing world will keep its eyes on both Canelo and Paul as their careers continue to unfold in very different ways.
