Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez thinks Gervonta Davis will beat Shakur Stevenson if they fight. The super-middleweight champ shared his thoughts on this potential lightweight clash that's got boxing fans talking.
'Tank' Davis and Stevenson hold different parts of the lightweight crown. They haven't set a date to fight yet, but if they do, it'll be a big deal. Many say it's the toughest fight to call in boxing right now.
Davis has built quite a reputation. He's fought 30 times and only two of those fights went the distance. His knockout power has made for some impressive highlights. Even bigger guys feel his punches in the gym.
Stevenson's got a different style. He likes to hit without getting hit back. He moves well, has great defense, and he's fast. But some fans think his last couple of fights weren't that exciting. Stevenson says he'll show his best when he's up against the toughest opponents.

"Shakur Stevenson is a good fighter, he moves a lot and it's very difficult to hit him but I like Gervonta Davis, he's a really good fighter. He hits hard and he knows how to go forward. I put my money on Gervonta."
Before they can think about facing each other, both fighters have other business to handle. Stevenson will defend his WBC lightweight title against Floyd Schofield on February 22 in Saudi Arabia. Davis will put his WBA lightweight belt on the line against Lamont Roach Jr on March 1 in Brooklyn.
Getting these two in the ring together might not be easy. They've had trouble making the fight happen before. And Davis says he plans to retire at the end of this year, which could make things even trickier.
