Moses Itauma, a 20-year-old heavyweight boxer, says he's ready to fight Oleksandr Usyk, the current unified heavyweight champion. The young knockout artist wants to prove he's "the best fighter in the world."

Itauma recently stopped Mariusz Wach in his last fight. He's now looking for bigger challenges in a division that's full of contenders. Both Tyson Fury and Usyk have praised Itauma's skills.

In an interview with BoxNation, Itauma talked about a potential fight with Usyk:

"Why would Usyk take that fight? That's obviously my first thought. If the fight was to present itself and they said you're fighting Usyk in May, I'm taking it 100%. There's no loss in that. I would take that fight 100% but I think why would he do that?"

Itauma added:

"I think I'm the best fighter in the world. I just need to go out and prove it."

The young boxer wants to beat Mike Tyson's record of being the youngest-ever heavyweight belt holder. But he'll have to wait his turn. Right now, the heavyweight division is busy with other fights.

Daniel Dubois, the IBF Heavyweight Champion, is set to fight Joseph Parker on February 22. Usyk, who holds the WBC, WBA, and WBO titles, doesn't have his next fight scheduled yet.

Usyk will likely fight the winner of Parker versus Dubois. He wants to try to become a two-time undisputed champion.

For now, Itauma doesn't have his next fight scheduled. But he's made it clear he's ready for the biggest challenges in boxing.
