Renowned trainer and analyst Teddy Atlas reacted to Tyson Fury's decision to end his career.
"I think it's just time. Everybody's talking about him not giving up. That's right, yeah, but Tyson's been through it before and he doesn't need it anymore. He's been through a lot of tough fights. Just think about his three fights with Wilder. And that takes a lot of energy. Look at his first fight with Usyk. Tyson lost there, of course, but he came back in the course of the fight and took the 12th round. It was great. He was shaken by Usyk, he was dropped by Wilder, but he got up and left some of himself in the ring. I don't like to see pictures when fighters walk away, leaving only a shadow of themselves, so Tyson made the right decision," - quotes Atlas Boxing Scene.
