Lennox Lewis thinks Tyson Fury will beat Anthony Joshua if they fight. The former heavyweight champ shared his opinion about this possible match-up between two of Britain's top boxers.

Lewis knows a thing or two about big heavyweight fights. Back in 1993, he stopped Frank Bruno in the seventh round at Cardiff's International Stadium. That night, he kept his WBC World Heavyweight Title.

Right now, the heavyweight scene looks different. Oleksandr Usyk has beaten both Fury and Joshua. Fury just lost to Usyk for the second time on points. He's taking a break after that tough 12-round fight.

Joshua's path back to the top looks even harder. Daniel Dubois knocked him out in his last fight. That loss hit Joshua hard.

If Fury and Joshua do end up fighting, it'll probably happen in 2025. It'll be a huge event - the kind that could fill up Wembley Stadium. But they haven't signed anything yet.

Lewis shared his thoughts on the Froch on Fighting show. He said:

"Listen, both of them pack a punch, I would say Fury would be leading the way on that one, he's leading the way. It's up to Anthony Joshua to prove everybody wrong right now, it was [a devastating loss to Dubois]. I got Fury."

Joshua wants this fight to happen. Now, everyone's waiting to see what Fury will do next.

Both fighters might hang up their gloves soon. That makes this possible match even more important for boxing fans who want to see these two square off before they retire.
