Stefan Shaw (20-2, 15 KOs) told Hans Temistod that he would like to fight Deontay Wilder (43-4-1, 42 KOs), but so far the rumors of him fighting "The Bronze Bomber" have been slightly exaggerated.
"I just woke up one morning and found out that everyone was talking about our fight. It was about a couple weeks ago, I got a call from someone telling me that Shaw was in the news. However, I didn't get any information, or an offer," Shaw said.
Wilder, 39, is set to return to the ring in April, reportedly at a boxing night in Atlanta. More details about the former WBC heavyweight champion's performance are expected to be announced at a press conference this coming Saturday.
