"Morrell is not ready for Benavides yet," states Demetrius Andrade (32-1, 19 KOs), who lost to David Benavides (29-0, 24 KOs) almost fifteen months ago and experienced his class firsthand.

This will be a qualifying fight for the WBC and WBA light heavyweight titles. The explosive David Benavidez will face David Morrell (11-0, 9 KOs), a very uncomfortable opponent for many. The boxers will cross gloves on February 1 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

"Morrell is a very good fighter, but this fight happened too fast for him, he still lacks experience. The guy has great skills, although there are people in this business with even better technique. The scariest thing for him, though, is that so far none of his opponents have made him rise to his heights and look for his limit. And Benavides will do that because he's been with the best in the ring before. Morrell is very good, but it's going to be a really tough fight for him," said Andrade, a former world champion at bantamweight and middleweight.
