Anthony Joshua wants to make a big comeback in 2025. The former heavyweight champ has a two-part plan: he wants to become a three-time world champion and fight Tyson Fury.

Joshua's had a tough time lately. He started 2024 strong with a second-round knockout win over Francis Ngannou. But things took a turn in September when Daniel Dubois beat him for the IBF heavyweight title at Wembley Stadium. Dubois won by knockout in the fifth round.

The boxing world's changed a lot since then. Tyson Fury lost his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in December. Now, Usyk holds the WBC, WBA, and WBO belts, while Dubois has the IBF title.

Joshua talked about his comeback plans in an interview with NTA Network. He said:

"I want to become a three-time world champion and I want to fight Tyson Fury. Those are my two goals for 2025."

Getting a world title shot won't be easy for Joshua. He's lost to both Dubois and Usyk before. After the Dubois fight, he turned down an immediate rematch because of some small injuries.

Joshua might have to fight Fury first. If he wins that fight, it could set him up for a title shot. That way, he could try to become a three-time world heavyweight champion.

While Joshua plans his comeback, the boxing world keeps moving. Dubois will defend his IBF belt against Joseph Parker in February. Joshua beat Parker back in March 2018 when he was the unified champion.

Joshua's got a tough road ahead, but he's determined to get back to the top of the heavyweight division.
