Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua might face off in 2025, setting up a long-awaited all-British heavyweight clash. Both fighters are looking to bounce back after recent losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury, known as "The Gypsy King," lost his rematch against Usyk by unanimous decision. All three judges scored the fight 116-112 in favor of the extremely talented Ukrainian, as reported by the BBC.

Joshua's career has seen ups and downs lately. After losing twice to Usyk in 2021 and 2022, he struggled with lacklustre wins against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius. AJ then seemed to regain his form with dominant stoppage victories over Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou. But his comeback hit a snag when Daniel Dubois knocked him out in the fifth round of their IBF heavyweight championship fight.

Dubois, the new IBF heavyweight champion, shared his thoughts on a potential Fury-Joshua matchup. When asked who'd win, he said simply:

"Fury."

The newly crowned champ also suggested it might be time for Fury to hang up his gloves:

"He's had a great career. It's time for him to call it a day now."

Despite Dubois's opinion, fans are still eager to see Fury and Joshua square off. The fight would pit two of Britain's most popular heavyweights against each other, even if they're both coming off losses to Usyk.

One question remains unanswered: Which fighter gave Usyk a tougher fight - Fury or Joshua? The Ukrainian champ's opinion would certainly add an interesting perspective to this potential matchup.

As both Fury and Joshua look to rebuild their careers, a clash between them in 2025 could be just what British boxing fans have been waiting for. Will it happen? Only time will tell.
