Britain's Tommy Fury has unexpectedly announced that he has decided to withdraw from a boxing rules bout with former UFC fighter compatriot Darren Till.

According to Fury, the reason for this decision were threats from Till. Earlier Darren said that if he loses in the course of the fight, he will start using leg kicks.

"I can't believe I'm writing this, but I will not be fighting Darren Till now. For one simple reason, Darren has repeatedly stated that he doesn't want to abide by the rules of professional boxing and that if he loses the fight he will resort to leg kicks and other stupid MMA techniques.

I'm a professional boxer, I haven't stepped in the ring in over a year, and I wanted this to be a great boxing match for the fans. I've wasted weeks in training camp. We are working hard to find a new opponent and date. I promise to find you a better opponent and a better fight. Good news is just around the corner," Fury wrote on social media.
