Evander Holyfield Gives Blunt Answer on Tyson Fury vs Prime Mike Tyson: "No Question"

Holyfield knows Tyson well. They fought twice in the 90s. In their first match in November 1996, Holyfield beat Tyson and took his WBA belt. Their rematch in June 1997 ended in a weird way. Tyson got mad and bit Holyfield's ear. He thought Holyfield was using his head on purpose. The ref stopped the fight and Tyson lost.

Tyson and Fury are very different fighters. Fury is bigger and uses more skill. He's good at dodging punches too. But that didn't change Holyfield's mind. When asked who'd win between Tyson and Fury, he told Mail Sport Boxing without a pause:

"Mike Tyson."

Fury lost his first fight in May against Oleksandr Usyk. He'll get another shot on December 21. They'll fight for three of the four big world titles.

Tyson had his own comeback not long ago. He fought Jake Paul in November. Paul won on points. After that, Tyson said he's done fighting for good.

Tyson made history back in 1986. He became the youngest heavyweight champ ever at just 20 years old. Holyfield clearly thinks that version of Tyson could beat today's best.
