The fight, which Netflix broadcast, lasted eight two-minute rounds. Paul won by unanimous decision, with the judges scoring it 80-72, 79-73, and 79-73.
This bout was originally set for July but got pushed back due to Tyson's health issues. 'Iron Mike' nearly died last summer while getting ready for the fight.
On fight night, Tyson wore a knee support and clearly struggled to keep up with his younger opponent. At times, it was hard to watch.
After the match, legendary Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who worked with Tyson in the 2000s, shared his thoughts. He said:
"Mike Tyson will always be a legend no matter what."
At first, Tyson hinted he might consider another fight. But he later confirmed this was his last time in the ring. His last professional fight was back in 2005.
As for Paul, he now has an 11-1 professional record. After beating Tyson, some of the biggest names in boxing have reached out to him about future fights.
The match stirred up a lot of debate in the boxing world. But according to Roach, this fight won't change Tyson's legacy as one of boxing's all-time greats.
