Tyson Fury Sets Surprising Stipulation for Daniel Dubois Showdown: "It's Non-Negotiable"

Fury's got his hands full with a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk on December 21st. It's the biggest fight of his career, a chance to reverse his only loss and claim the undisputed heavyweight championship. Their first bout was close, with Usyk edging it by a round.

Speaking to iFL TV, Fury didn't hold back about the IBF:

"I'm very disappointed in them. They've had hundreds of thousands of dollars off me for my last fight, alright, the guy won it by a round, cat's whisker in it. Why am I not rated in their Top 15? Have they got something against me, and if so, what is it?"

Fury's history with the IBF is rocky. He won their belt in 2015 by beating Wladimir Klitschko but got stripped of it shortly after.

When asked about fighting Dubois, who recently defended the IBF title against Anthony Joshua with a fifth-round knockout, Fury said:

"I'll beat Daniel Dubois. But I'll tell you what it is, I won't be boxing him for his belt. I'd rather box him for the British title than for the IBF. I don't want anything to do with it, You couldn't give me it as a present, that's what it means to me. They're a biased company who don't like 'The Gypsy King.'"

Dubois' promoter Frank Warren has said if AJ isn't ready for a rematch by February, DDD will fight whoever's next in line. That's unlikely to be the Fury-Usyk winner due to the timing of their December fight.

The heavyweight division's got a lot going on. Fury's aiming to be undisputed champ, but the belts are split between multiple fighters. His focus now is on Usyk, who vacated the IBF title after their undisputed fight in May.

Fury's full interview shows he's fired up for his upcoming fights, with or without the IBF's approval.
