Famous promoter Tom Leffler shared his expectations from the fight between former WBC interim featherweight belt holder Sergey Bogachuk and former champion in this division Israil Madrimov.
"Madrimov is another tough fight for Bogachuk, but I think it will be a winnable fight for Sergey. It's another big opportunity for him. If he can beat Madrimov, it will mean that he had a terrific year in fights against Brian Mendoza, Virgil Ortiz. Remember, Virgil Ortiz at the time had a 20-0 record with 20 knockouts and people were anticipating, they were actually betting on him knocking out Bogachuk and when Bogachuk dropped him twice, it really opened people's eyes.
Now a lot of people don't give Bogachuk a chance in this fight, but personally I'm confident that he will win, and it's not because I'm working with this boxer," Leffler is quoted by Boxing Scene.
Recall that Bogachuk and Madrimov will share the ring on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the undercard of the fight Usyk - Fury.
