World Champion Claims He Outclasses Terence Crawford: "I'm on Another Level"

Jaron 'Boots' Ennis wants to fight Terence Crawford. The IBF Welterweight Champion claims he can do everything better than Crawford and make the fight look easy.

Crawford, 36, from Omaha, Nebraska, has won all his 41 fights. He's held world titles in four weight classes and recently became the first male boxer to be undisputed champion in two divisions. Now, he's plotting his next move after winning the WBA Super-Welterweight belt against Israil Madrimov.

Ennis, 27, from Philadelphia, has a perfect record of 32 wins with 29 knockouts. He got the IBF Welterweight title when Crawford moved up in weight. Now, he's eager to prove himself against the best.

In an interview, Ennis said:

"Whatever he thinks he can do, I can do better. I'm smart, I'm sharp. I'm trying to tell y'all, when I fight someone that's better it's gonna make me better. People don't understand that. You fight better competition it makes you better, it makes you think, you go to the next level and the fight might even be easier than what you think, than what other people think, because I know what I'm gonna do."

Ennis says he'll move up to 154 pounds for the fight. But Crawford hasn't shown much interest. He's looking at other options, like a unification bout with Sebastian Fundora or even moving up to super-middleweight to face Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

Meanwhile, Ennis must defend his IBF title against Karen Chukhadzhian. He beat Chukhadzhian last year for the interim belt.

Ennis is known for his ability to switch hit and his calculated attacks. He believes fighting better competition will take him to the next level. But for now, Crawford remains the top dog in boxing, with challengers like Ennis lining up to test their skills against him.
