Gilberto Ramirez Reveals Surprising Take on Bivol-Beterbiev Clash: "I Never Expected..."

Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol are getting ready for a big fight. The two light-heavyweight champions will face off on October 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to decide who's the best in their division.

Both fighters have held titles since 2017. Bivol got the WBA belt when Badou Jack gave it up, while Beterbiev won the IBF title in a fight against Enrico Kölling. Since then, Beterbiev has added the WBC and WBO belts to his collection.

These two have very different styles. Bivol is known for his boxing skills, but he hasn't knocked out many opponents lately. On the other hand, Beterbiev has won all his fights by knockout, showing he's got some serious power.

Lyndon Arthur, who has fought Bivol and trained with Beterbiev, shared his thoughts on the matchup with Boxing News:

"I used to think Bivol… No, I still think Bivol's the best, Bivol's elite, but now I've felt Bivol doesn't hit as hard as he needs to keep Beterbiev off. I've sparred Beterbiev, I know how hard he hits in 16 ounces. I wouldn't like to take them shots in 10 ounces. Not for as long as that anyway as a twelve round fight. I don't know men, Bivol's a boxer through and through and he'll be happy to stay in there and box his head off if it can be done. I'm excited for that fight. I'm sitting on the fence."

The fight in Saudi Arabia will be a big deal. The winner will be the first undisputed champion at 175 pounds since Roy Jones Jr, and the first ever in the four-belt era. That means they'll hold all the major titles at once.

This fight tops a card that's packed with stars. Both Bivol and Beterbiev have been at the top of their game for a while now, so fans can't wait to see who comes out on top.
