Froch: "I don't think a fight with Canelo is a good idea for Crawford"

British boxing veteran titlist Carl Froch has expressed his opinion that pound-for-pound leader Terence Crawford should drop the idea of a fight against unified world middleweight champion Saul Alvarez.

"Crawford can't move up to middleweight or welterweight and perform like he used to. His last fight went the whole distance. He moved up in weight and didn't look strong and effective. I don't think a fight against Canelo is a good idea," Froch said on his YouTube channel.

Recall that on August 3, Crawford defeated Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision of judges and won the WBA light middleweight title.
