Rising Star Reveals Surprising Power Comparison Between Davis and Crawford: "Never Felt Anything Like It"

Gervonta 'Tank' Davis hits harder than Terence Crawford. That's according to WBO Welterweight World Champion Brian Norman Jr., who's sparred with both men.

Davis and Crawford are known for their finishing abilities. Tank has knocked out 28 of his 30 opponents, giving him a 93% KO ratio. Crawford's not far behind with 75% of his wins coming inside the distance.

Davis started his career at super-featherweight and has moved up to lightweight. He's even had one fight at super-lightweight. There are rumors he's knocked out heavyweights in sparring, and he's set to return to the ring in November, possibly at 140 lbs.

Crawford's got a different kind of power. He's become undisputed champion at lightweight and welterweight. He's also grabbed a belt at super-welterweight. Now, he's talking about moving up even further to face Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

Norman Jr. sparred with Crawford when he was just 20 years old. He told Showbizz the Adult about the experience:

"When I sparred Terence Crawford I was 20 years old at the time, so it was like he was trying to man me like 'I'm gonna show you you a little boy' type stuff. But I'm mature for my age, so that's why we evened out. Even when you see him fight for real, he don't necessarily one-shot people, but what he do is he just beat you up and then he kill you. But as far as one shot, who got it? I got to give that to Tank."

Crawford's said he'd stick around at 147 lbs for a big-money fight with Davis. But the chances of that happening are slim to none. For now, fans will have to rely on the word of those who've been in the ring with both men to compare their power.
