Tyson Fury Reveals Unexpected Heavyweight Clash He's Eager To See: "It's A Real 50-50"

Tyson Fury can't wait to watch Mike Tyson step back into the ring against Jake Paul. The current heavyweight champion shared his thoughts while getting ready for his own big fight.

Fury posted on social media about the upcoming Tyson vs Paul match. He wrote, "Can't wait to see the living legend with boxing gloves on again." The fight will stream on Netflix as part of their regular subscription, which could lead to record-breaking viewership for live boxing.

Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight legend, last fought in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr in 2020. That bout came 18 years after his last professional fight. Jake Paul, on the other hand, has been racking up first-round wins lately. But he's never faced anyone close to Tyson's level, even with the nearly 30-year age gap between them.

While Fury's excited about the Tyson-Paul matchup, he's got his own big fight coming up. He'll face Oleksandr Usyk again in December, trying to bounce back from his first pro loss. Their first fight in May was close, but Usyk won and became the first undisputed heavyweight champ in almost 25 years.

"I'll be better and more focused when we meet again,"
Fury said about the rematch.

That first fight with Usyk was tough. In the ninth round, Fury got caught with a big hook and the ref gave him a 10 count. Now he's determined to turn things around against the skilled Ukrainian, who used to rule the cruiserweight division.

Fury's got a lot on his plate with the Usyk rematch, but he's still pumped to see how the Tyson-Paul fight plays out on Netflix.
