Terence Crawford and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez might face each other in the ring. The fight's been talked about for a while, even after financial backer Turki Alalshikh said it wouldn't happen.

Canelo, the Mexican powerhouse, holds three of the four major belts at super-middleweight. He's won championships at light-heavyweight and light-middleweight too. Crawford, nicknamed 'Bud', hails from Omaha and has made a name for himself as an undisputed champion at both lightweight and welterweight. He's now got the WBA 154 lbs belt after beating Israil Madrimov.

At first, Alalshikh said the fight was off. He didn't like how Canelo responded to the idea. But now, he's thinking about starting talks again after getting a message from Canelo's team.

Heavyweight legend Riddick Bowe shared his thoughts on the potential match-up. When asked about the fighter he always watches, Bowe didn't hesitate:

"I think it's Terence. I have a feeling he's knocking everybody out, he's cool, he's not nervous. Terence Crawford."

Bowe doesn't think today's fighters match up to his era:

"There is no comparison. If they fought me back in the day, they don't think the way they made us think."

But when it comes to Crawford vs. Canelo, Bowe's sure Crawford will come out on top:

"Think about it, if his people thought he couldn't do it he wouldn't be doing it. I think 100% he'll win the fight. It will be a great fight."

Right now, Canelo's in training camp. He's set to fight Edgar Berlanga in September. He's not talking about any other fights for now.
