Crawford-Madrimov made $8.5 million on tickets

Nearly $8.5 million in revenue was generated from the sale of 17,779 tickets at the Riyadh Season boxing night, which took place Aug. 3 in Los Angeles.

The main event of the tournament, organized at the BMO Stadium, was a fight for the title of WBA world champion in the first middleweight division between Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) and Israil Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs).

In Los Angeles, boxing fans also saw Martin Bakole vs. Jared Anderson and Jarell Miller vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. fight, among others. The event was shown on the DAZN platform on pay-per-view.
