Garcia made a prediction for the Crawford - Madrimov fight

Authoritative American trainer Robert Garcia suggests that Terence Crawford will defeat WBA world featherweight champion Israil Madrimov.

"I'll bet on Crawford winning, but I don't think it will be an easy fight. I think his opponent is eager to make a name for himself, to prove the world wrong. When someone like that comes to this country to fight, much less an Eastern European fighter, they're hard to beat. These guys are very hard to beat, so I know they're going to put on a good fight.

I know Joel Diaz has a great plan for the fight to set up an upsets. And I wouldn't be surprised by that. From what I've seen and maybe even heard from Crawford, he's aiming for a big check. He's already 37 years old. He's looking to rip off a payday, Crawford is targeting Canelo, a fight for which he'll make over $20 million dollars. If he's already reasoning like that, the hungry guy will give him trouble," Garcia said in an interview with YouTube channel Boxing King Media.

Recall that the fight Crawford vs. Madrimov will take place on August 3 in Las Vegas.
