Hearn commented on the WBC's willingness to give a title fight to Pacquiao

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has spoken out about the WBC's willingness to give the legendary Manny Pacquiao a fight against the organization's welterweight champion Mario Barrios.

"A lot of people say Manny Pacquiao should never fight again. I think until we see him again we can't objectively assess the level he's at. Pacquiao is nowhere near the fighter he once was. But he can probably beat most of the welterweights in the world besides the top 15-20.

Again, it's been a while. Pacquiao's return right away in a title fight? I realize I'm not entirely sure about that. But I think that if he feels fresh and healthy at a certain level, then he should continue if Manny feels it's the right thing to do," Hearn said in an interview with YouTube channel Seconds Out.

Recall, earlier the head of the WBC Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed that he is ready to sanction a title fight Pacquiao.
