Former world champion Daniel Jaybox believes Terence Crawford's boxing skills can offset the size difference in a potential fight against absolute world champion in the second middleweight division Saul Alvarez.
"Sometimes skills pay the bills and we know Crawford has the skills for Canelo. Sometimes power, weight and experience play a role. So it will be a good test for Crawford, but in this particular fight, the fans will be the winners if it happens.
However, Crawford has a tough fight ahead of him right now (August 3 against WBA featherweight champion Israil Madrimov). I will be supporting Terence in the arena that night. I'm a big fan of Crawford and look forward to all his new accomplishments.
Crawford can equalize the size difference with Canelo through skill. We've seen this kind of thing time and time again as well as the other way around," Jacobs said.
