Bellew named the strongest puncher in boxing history

Former world featherweight champion Tony Bellew has said he believes legendary American super featherweight George Foreman is the greatest knockout artist in boxing history.

"Deontay Wilder is the most powerful panther of modern times. People who say he's the most powerful puncher in history certainly don't have the slightest clue.

George Foreman, without a shadow of a doubt, is the greatest puncher boxing has ever seen. The thing about Foreman was that he turned his opponents off. George Foreman knocked out Joe Frazier. Frazier was the outright heavyweight champion of the world, he had beaten Mohammed Ali, but Foreman lifted him off his feet with an uppercut and forced him to land on his knees. Check out his fight with Ron Lyle. He knocked out Ken Norton, a phenomenal fighter, really strong. Foreman came back at 40 and knocked out Michael Moorer, who beat Evander Holyfield," Bellew said.
