Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker analyzed the fight between the promotion's lightweight titleholder Islam Makhachev and Dustin Porier.
On June 1 in the main event of the UFC 302 show in Newark, USA, the Dagestani defeated the American with a choke hold in the fifth round.
"Makhachev beat him in most rounds, and personally I think he beat him all rounds. They threw a lot of meaningful punches at each other, it was exciting to watch, but Islam outboxed him in most of the rounds. Like I said, it was exciting and I think it was one of the best title fights we've seen in a long time," MMA News quoted Whitatker as saying.
