Head coach of the Ukrainian national boxing team Dmytro Sosnovsky shared his thoughts on the prospects of the Ukrainians at the Olympic Games 2024, which will be held from July 26 to August 11 in Paris.
"In the case of Oleksandr Khizhnyak, everything depends on the form in which he approaches, he went through an individual training camp where he had sparring partners. We will hold combat practice at the training camp, so that he can feel the distance, and he has experience like no one else, he knows what the Olympics are.
Dmitry Lovchinsky and Aider Abduraimov will be at the Olympics for the first time, the degree of their readiness also still depends on how they can psychologically cope with it," Sosnovsky said.
