Top Swedish super featherweight Otto Wallin shared his thoughts on his division's loss to former world champion Deontay Wilder in his fight against Zhang Zhilei.
"It was a good fight. Zhilei imposed the fight. We were expecting a good fight. Zhang just turned out to be better. I think he was sharper. Wilder was never the best technical fighter, but he always had power. So his opponents would go down as soon as he hit them. But now it seems like he's lost a little bit of that power. Of course it's changed him.
Whether to continue his career further is for Wilder to decide. But it was a tough defeat. He lost to Parker and now he's lost to Zhilei. So we'll see what he does," Wallin said in an interview with YouTube channel Boxing Social.
Recall that on June 1, Zhilei defeated Wilder by technical knockout in the fifth round in the main event of the 5 on 5 tournament from the promotional companies Queensberry Promotions and Matchroom Boxing.
