The fight was supposed to take place on June 1, but Beterbiev suffered a knee injury during training and the event had to be postponed to another date. Bivol earned an early win over Malik Zinad during yesterday's 5×5 event in Saudi Arabia.
Beterbiev, who defeated Callum Smith in January, holds the IBF, WBO and WBC championship belts, while Bivol is the WBA champion.
