Dustin Porier explained why he will take his 7-year-old daughter to the bout with Islam Makhachev.

"I don't have many years left in my athletic career. My girl is almost 8 years old, she's going into third grade, and she knows what I do. She knows what's going to happen. Little girl is going to see her superhero bleeding, in pain. I don't want her to see it, but I think she's ready to see me fight, sitting in the stands. She knows her daddy is going to be okay, she's seen the stitches in my face many times. It's part of her life," Puryear said in an interview with Sports Illustrated.

Recall, the confrontation Makhachev - Porye will take place on June 1 and will headline UFC 302.
