Hearn announced the timeline for Joshua's return to the ring

Renowned British promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed when unified heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua could have his next fight.

"You have to consider the fact that Anthony has had four fights in 11 months. That's a long time in training camp. Each training camp was 10 weeks long. He trained 40 weeks out of 11 months.

I know AJ would like to fight in July, but it looks like it's going to be either August or September. We had a meeting with His Excellency the other day. They want to see how it ends on May 18th," Boxing Social quoted Hearn as saying.

Recall that in his last appearance in the ring, Joshua brutally knocked out mixed martial arts star Francis Ngannou. The fight took place on March 8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
