The presence of banned doping substances was found in the body of Evgeny Tishchenko (12-1, 7 KOs) after his fight with Leon Hart (22-5-1, 13 KOs). As a result, the result of the December fight for the WBA bantamweight belt, which took place in Dubai, was canceled.

Tishchenko was disqualified for a year, and the World Boxing Association championship belt in the weight category up to 101 kilograms was declared vacant.

The first two places in the WBA ranking in the Bridger category are currently occupied by Chinese Zhaoxin Zhang and Cuban Julio Cesar La Cruz.
