Beterbiev stops Koelling in the 12th

Arthur Beterbiev (12-0, 12 KOs) won an easy victory over Enrico Koelling (23-2, 6 KOs) via TKO in the 12th round in the main event of the evening in Fresno, California, and got the vacant IBF light heavyweight title. Beterbiev gradually increased his advantage, while Koelling tried to keep the pace slow. In the final round Koelling was twice on the floor. The time was 2:33.

Miller stops Wach

Brooklyn heavyweight prospect Jarrell Miller (20-0-1, 18 KO) scored a TKO victory in the ninth round over Mariusz Wach (33-3, 17 KOs) from Poland as part of a boxing event in Uniondale, New York. Miller outboxed Wach, who, apparently, injured his right hand during the battle. In the ninth round the referee decided to intervene and stop the fight at 1:02.

Ramirez destroys Reed

Undefeated 2012 Olympian Jose Ramirez (21-0, 16 KOs) needed two rounds to break the resistance of the undefeated Mike Reed (23-1, 12 KOs). In the second round, Reed was on the floor, and the fight was stopped after a follow up barrage. The time was 1:43. Reed complained about the stoppage.

Alexander Povetkin of Russia is ready to fight the heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in 2018. "Should I fight till my 50s? When should I fight Joshua? When Joshua boxed Wladimir Klitschko, he missed a very heavy blow - he's certainly a tough guy, he has the strength. Even after the heavy punch, he regrouped and won the fight," Povetkin said.

Derevyanchenko to fight in January or February

Ukrainian middleweight Sergiy Derevyanchenko (11-0, 9 KOs) will fight in January or February 2018. Sergiy is a mandatory challenger for the IBF belt, which belongs to Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs), but the International Boxing Federation allowed Golovkin to delay with the mandatory title defense for the sake of rematch with Saul Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs). Their first battle ended in a controversial draw.
