Wilder: “I don’t mind fighting in the Octagon, but I need to understand the rules”

Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder clarified his words about his readiness to debut in MMA.

“I need to better understand the rules of mixed martial arts. But in general, I don’t mind fighting in the Octagon. But, of course, I need to understand how everything works there.

There are rules in boxing. Mixed martial arts also have them. But when you put it all together, it can get confusing. However, this could be something new, and I am for change,” DAZN quotes Wilder as saying.

Let us remind you that earlier the founder of PFL said that he was working on organizing a fight between Wilder and ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou under mixed rules.
